13 years ago, we set foot in Nairobi, Kenya with a clear mission of providing specialized services within the Life Safety and Security Industry—thus our name, Integrated Fire & Safety Solutions LTD. Armed with years of experience within the industry in the African and international market, we set out on a path to build a true Pan-African Systems Integrator.

Our Growth
Through the years we have expanded our operations across the African continent, opened regional offices in Egypt and Nigeria while still maintaining our Kenyan office, and global headquarters in the UK. With the expansion, we broadened our scope and became experts in numerous fields of low-voltage integrations, thus adding Building Automation as a core offering, alongside Physical Security and Fire Safety.

Integrated Fire & Safety Solutions Ltd (IFSS Kenya) was first established in Kenya in early 2009, before expanding across Africa. The Nairobi office serves Eastern and Central African blocks, while also working in harmony with other regional offices

From a company that had a humble beginning of a team of 3, we now celebrate our ever-growing team of 70+, who are all driven to achieve quality and client satisfaction. Our staff remain certified and conversant on all the systems we integrate. And as we grow, we are continuously adding to our team, ensuring we can always meet our clients’ needs in a timely and efficient manner.

Mohamed El-Kassas

Founder, and Managing Director of IFSS Group.

A Coaching Graduate and an MBA Holder from Maastricht School of Business, Maastricht, The Netherlands, Mohamed has held previous positions in the same industry since 2000, from Business Development to Managing Director. He has vast experience in business management and marketing, with specific know-how to the industry which adds great value and capital to the company’s wellbeing. Mohamed is also a board member, director, partner in other businesses and industries within the African region.

Karim Afifi

Managing Director of IFSS Egypt.

A Degree Holder in Economics from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, Karim has held various positions in Procter & Gamble from 1994 to 1998 and was also the General Manager of United Company for Trading & Distribution where he still holds as partner and board member to the company. Karim is also an ex Davis Cup Egyptian Tennis Player.

Kanu Emejuaiwe

Country Manager for IFSS Nigeria

An alumnus of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a major in accounting, and over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining IFSS Group, Kanu was the Managing Director of KNN Network Ltd, Abuja and Christal Information Services Ltd, Owerri. He was also the Director of Publicity and Information at the Centre for Public Health, Umuahia and a two-time Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Abia State on Industrial growth.
